Open for free-play tonight but we have to cancel the three strike tournament originally scheduled. We’ll have our events back on schedule for next week with a PACE Matchplay event followed by our Transformers launch party on Monday the 10th.

Tonight’s format is PACE Matchplay. Next week is max Matchplay head to head, followed by three strike knockout the week after that. Every Monday this summer we rotate like that through those three formats. That schedule goes until September 9th. September 14th we start our next season of CRAP league and 1 strike Afterparties. Doors always at 7 and be signed in by 7:30. Open to anyone who doesn’t wish to compete as well for freeplay all night every Monday as well.

Closed Monday 5/25 for Memorial Day. We will be open Wednesday instead. Week 6 of poker league will take place this night as well.

Join us for Stern Pinballs Pokemon Launch Party on Sunday April 26th at Noon. $25 entry fee for the day for the tournament and freeplay on all machines. Many prizes and giveaways such as Pokemon Lego sets, Pokemon cards and Stern Pinball translites/swag/promotional material. Payouts and custom trophies for the top 3. Qualifying rounds will be Pace Matchplay. Groups of 4 will go out and play a single game with 7/5/3/1 scoring. After 7 rounds a Pace score of 24 will be set. Anyone below 24 points after 7 rounds will be eliminated. After that each round the Pace goes up by 6 points. If you fall below the new pace of 30 after round 8 you are eliminated. Each round will alternate between classic games one round and modern games the next. This goes on until we have 16 players remaining to make the cut for finals. Any ties at the cut line to make it into finals will be broken on a single game of Stars.

Finals is a head to head bracket. Best of 5. All games will be randomly selected for each matchup with them alternating between classic and modern each game. Event will likely grade out to around 150% TGP

Translite provided by stern will be randomly raffled off at the start of the event. We will have other fun events happening alongside the main tournament such as an insider connected high score leaderboard on Pokemon. All players(Trainers) will randomly be assigned a Pokemon card when they sign up and will later be revealed. Before we start the event we will have each player then choose a Pokemon to pick as theirs to bring to battle. Once all players have chosen a pokemon we will reveal the pokemon everyone was assigned at sign ins. That is the pokemon you will be rooting to win and if the pokemon you chose places in the top 3 you will also recieve a prize for the event.

Added bonus! If you come in costume you will be awarded 1 point to your starting score towards the Pace Matchplay qualifying portion.

We will be closed tomorrow(Monday) due to the snow. League week 7 and Afterparty tentatively scheduled for Wednesday this week provided the weather is clear.

With everyone likely to not want yo go back out Monday after working and clearing all the snow we will push our open night back to Tuesday this week. That means week 3 of CRAP league will take place on Tuesday as well. Same 7:30 start time.

What a great weekend of competition. I want to congratulate everyone who competed. You all played excellently. Josh Felton was the champion in the open division and Nicole Turcotte took the women’s division. Best luck I. Nationals to the both of you.

State championships are this weekend. Our doors will be open both days for everyone to come enjoy the games and watch the championships in person. Open championship is Saturday and Women’s takes place on Sunday. Doors open at noon both days. Open starts at 12:30 and Women’s at 1:00. We are closed Monday night as we prep the place for the 24 Hour Final Battle this weekend. We will be open for everyone Friday night from 6-10 for a three strike knockout and high score contest on Star Wars. Lots of great prizes to hand out and raffle off. Custom launch party patches for everyone who plays. Everyone wears the Darth Vader helmet to put up a high score on the new Star Wars game.
